For the fifth consecutive year, BankVic are proud to sponsor the 2016 Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance. Beginning in 2010, the ride is a special tribute that honours the service and sacrifices of fallen colleagues and mates.
On September 16, more than 1700 riders nationwide will be putting on their riding gear to travel from their home state to the National Police Memorial in Canberra, where they will pay homage to and remember their police officers who have died as a result of their service to the community.
In salute to the brave who risk their lives to protect us every day, BankVic's Chief Sales Officer, Rosemary Boissezon, will join the Victorian Police contingent for the second year in a row.
"I was so proud to join the Victorian group of riders last year. There was so much comradery and mateship. It highlights the many sacrifices of those police officers who are no longer with us." Rosemary Boissezon said.
Also joining her this year will be BankVic's Head of Wealth Management, Pierre Ong.
With many pit stops along the way, BankVic staff will be on hand to help all riders stay hydrated and well fed over the two day journey. This year's ride will begin Friday 16 and conclude on Saturday 17 September. Victorian riders will being at the Victoria Police Memorial site.
