Now, how about this role?
Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be engaging with our amazing members in a customer facing capacity to drive new business opportunities within the Branch. A day in the life of a Personal Banker at BankVic will see you strengthening local relationships by accurately identifying and matching member needs to our range of retail banking and lending solutions to ensure our members receive the highest service levels coupled with effective, honest and fair service. This role will give you great exposure to multiple areas of our business such as advising on appropriate products and services including basic deposit, lending and general insurance, handling enquiries on home/car/personal loans, overdrafts and credit cards as well as daily administrative and cash handling and teller functions.

You in a nutshell
•You have good working knowledge of the financial services regulatory framework, including AFSL and ACL obligations, Privacy legislation and understanding of lending procedures including adherence to responsible lending under the NCCP Act, with current DLA approval.
•You have demonstrated sales experience preferably within a retail banking/lending/insurance environment.
•You have amazing customer service skills with a natural ability to build rapport.
•You bring a high attention to detail with strong numerical, analytical and credit skills.
•You are a team player who is able to act independently and thrive in a member focused environment
