Weare the bank for Victorian police, health, emergency and public servicespersonnel.

The role:

Reportingthrough to the Head of Compliance the primary purpose of the Compliance Specialistis to support the development of robust frameworks, policies and procedures forthe identification, management and monitoring of compliance obligations. Youwill contribute towards enhancing the development and effectiveness of ourCompliance Framework.

This role will also: 

  • monitorand assess our compliance with regulatory and policy obligations through theexecution of the Compliance Assurance Plan, including testing and deep- divereviews to ensure the effective operation of the Compliance Framework
  • management of external obligations system feedand BankVic policies and procedures on the Enterprise Risk System and BankVicintranet
  • contributeto the delivery of compliance reporting to management and the Board
  • support the business in understanding their compliance requirements and managing attestationsagainst external obligations and internal policies and procedures.

You will have:

  • tertiary qualified with a degree in business, commerce (or a related discipline)
  • experience in management and use of Risk Management Systems (experience with Protecht is desirable but not essential)
  • experience in a compliance-basedrole preferably in Financial Services
  • working knowledge of ASICRegulatory Guides and APRA prudential standards.
