Now, how about this role?
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will join our growing Risk and Compliance team to provide 2nd line compliance support across the organisation as a subject matter expert in regulatory requirements and compliance policies in line with the Risk Management Framework. You will provide advisory support and training to business units in relation to management of compliance obligations. This role will see you undertaking the review of incidents to identify potential compliance breaches or control weaknesses and ensure that appropriate action is taken to address incident root cause while overseeing policy and procedure framework. In a broader capacity you will identify regulatory developments and manage the adequacy and effectiveness of BankVic’s response.

You in a nutshell
•You have detailed knowledge of material regulatory obligations applying to retail banking including the Corporations Act, APRA Prudential Standards, NCCP Act, AML/CTF Act and the Privacy Act.
•You bring previous Compliance experience from within banking/financial services
•You are commercially focused with experience in the operation of a compliance framework.
•You have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the flex to operate independently or in a collaborative team environment
•You are detail oriented, process driven and operate well under pressure
