Notice of Annual General Meeting 2015

Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of Police Financial Services Limited ABN 33 087 651 661 will be held at BankVic head office, 121 Cardigan Street, Carlton, on Thursday 19 November 2015 commencing at 6p.m.

Invitation

An invitation is extended to all members to attend. Light refreshments will be provided at the close of the meeting and an invitation is extended to all members to meet with directors and staff during this period. To assist with the catering, please contact Yvonne Tunley on 9268 9396 or via email ytunley@bankvic.com.au by 12 November 2015.

Ordinary business

1. To confirm the minutes of the fortieth annual general meeting held on Thursday 13 November 2014.

2. To receive reports from the board, auditors, and officers of the bank for the financial year, including the statements of financial position, statements of financial performance, statements of cash flows and directors’ report at the end of the year.

3. To receive a report from the Company Secretary on the re-appointment of two directors.

4. To determine the remuneration of the directors and that such remuneration for the ensuing year remain on the same formula as approved at the last Annual General Meeting.

Members may view the minutes of the 2014 annual general meeting at the 2015 annual general meeting or on application to the bank. Members wishing to obtain a copy of the minutes should apply in writing to the secretary or email carlton@bankvic.com.au with the subject line att: Secretary.

Proxy voting

Should a member be unable to attend the annual general meeting, the member may vote by proxy. A member entitled to cast two or more votes may appoint two proxies and may specify the proportion or number of votes each proxy is appointed to exercise. A proxy need not be a member of the bank. Proxy forms, with instructions for completion and return, can be downloaded from this link, and are also available on application to The Secretary BankVic PO Box 669 Carlton South, Vic 3053, by telephoning 13 63 73 or by email to carlton@bankvic.com.au.

Proxy forms must be received by the Company Secretary no later than 5p.m. on Thursday 12 November 2015. For members attending the meeting in person it will be necessary to register your name for voting purposes prior to the commencement of the meeting. Registration will commence at 5.30p.m.

The Annual Financial Report includes reports from the board and our auditor and contains information about the bank’s financial position and performance, the efficiency with which the bank is being managed and the financial risks to which the bank is exposed.

To save costs and the excessive use of paper, the annual report is no longer distributed to members unless they request a copy. You can request a hard copy, which will be available from 27 October 2015 by calling 13 63 73, email carlton@bankvic.com.au or pick one up from a branch.
