For the first time in 17 years BankVic has opened a new branch. Whilst BankVic does not have a large branch network its branches have been strategically located to support large contingents of its member work locations.
BankVic CEO, Stephen Capello said “As the digital landscape is rapidly evolving, we recognised the need to continue matching our branch services to meet the more complex member needs. This branch serves as a prototype in which we will develop insights to further amplify and modernise our services and products available to our members. Our new City West branch has also allowed us to deliver on a key promise to our members which is convenient banking. When the opportunity to secure a premise directly across the road from Victoria Police’s newest offices, we jumped at the opportunity. Just as City West Police Complex has provided its workforce with upgraded modern facilities, so too have BankVic. We have gone for a best of both worlds approach, meeting every one of our members traditional banking needs but providing a service fit for today’s world."
Services available at the new BankVic City West branch include:
"We have retained the ‘human element’ as our members really value the personal service which our staff has enjoyed providing to our loyal members over the past 40 years and we hope the new branch is enjoyed by its members," said Rosemary Boissezon, Executive Manager, Sales & Service.
The City West branch on 278 Spencer Street is also conveniently located within walking distance of many other workplaces that BankVic serves, including Australian Federal Police, Melbourne Assessment Prison, Melbourne Magistrates, Family and County Courts as well as various other Government and Police locations in the CBD. BankVic City West branch is open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
