2015 Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance

The Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance began in 2010 in commemoration of the service and sacrifice of our police members and as an opportunity for each state to raise much needed funds for their police charity organisation.

The motorcycle ride is Australia-wide and begins at the police remembrance memorial in each capital city with riders heading off on a journey to Canberra. Once in Canberra, all riders travel through Canberra to the Police Memorial where more than 1,750 riders honour their fallen colleagues and mates whose names are recorded on the memorial.

BankVic are proud to support the 2015 Wall to Wall Ride for Remembrance as platinum sponsors. “This is an important event for BankVic to support, as many of our members are serving or retired police members, friends or family members, we know that this event raises awareness for this cause as well as funds for the Victoria Police Legacy. We are committed to supporting events and causes that help to strengthen the communities that we serve.” Stephen Capello BankVic CEO said.

Our BankVic staff and Directors will be joining the ride from Victoria and offering riders gifts and refreshments along the way. This year’s ride will begin on Friday September 11 and conclude on Saturday 12 September. Victorian riders will begin at the Victoria Police Memorial site, St Kilda Road Melbourne at 7am.
