Project Manager

Salary range: $90k-135k TEC

A permanent opportunity exists for a highly experienced Project Manager to join a bank that is committed to a high standard of strategic initiatives and quality financial services to all current and potential members.

This role is pivotal in developing business cases/project proposals and managing and implementing approved projects within constraints of scope, schedule, and budget.

You are someone who runs projects with an iron will, a water tight budget, and an unwavering sense of humour. You are an experienced Project Manager who has been there before and can get us to the top faster and better.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Development of business cases that provide validation of investment including financial and operational hurdles rates
  • Manage the analysis, design, building, testing, and implementation of technology and business projects
  • Perform business analysis work where resources constraints require
  • Coordination of all project requirements including preparing, implementing, monitoring, and updating Project Plans incl. status reports and quality control
  • Manage risk and issue reporting, tracking, and resolution
  • Identify, obtain, and coordinate necessary resources to meet the activities, and milestones and agreed deliverables within the Project Plans
  • Develop and implement security, testing, implementation, and training plans in relation to projects, in co-operation with relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct project closeout actions including handoff of responsibilities to others
  • Analyse existing processes and documents and recommend improvements

As well as being a highly efficient, natural communicator, to be considered for this position you will need to have experience in financial services. You will be a people person with exceptional stakeholder management skills, your focus will always be on delivering nothing but the best outcomes for BankVic. You will be highly motivated and will work well under pressure and within tight timeframes.

Ideally you will also have:

  • Tertiary qualification
  • Business analysis and solutions design
  • Business case writing experience
  • Process improvement experience
  • Experience working with tailored business and management computer applications
  • Demonstrated success in effectively delivering concurrent projects
  • Working experience with Ultradata banking software would be well-regarded
