Finance Business Partner

A permanent full time opportunity exists for a Finance Business Partner who will be responsible for providing financial support and insight to BankVic’s business units. You will be committed to leading the business forward through the development of driver based management reporting and provide commercial support to the business including analysis of new products and services.

Reporting to the Head of Finance the successful candidate will act as a trusted business partner and build strong relationships with the Executives and other senior stakeholders in the business.

In addition, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting to enhance the quality of financial decisions for all business units and provide financial advice to stakeholders on all business case developments.
  • Delivery of strategic business cases and financial modelling to enhance the decision making across the business.
  • Ownership in improvements of budgeting reporting, forecasting models and fiscal responsibility.
  • Providing key insights into profit and loss performance, budget variances, trend analysis, direct and indirect costs, overhead allocations and KPI reporting to stakeholders.
  • Supporting the business operational cost centre managers in preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Identifying and assisting in the implementation of process improvements and cost initiatives.

The Finance Business Partner will have strong time management skills and thorough understanding of business drivers. You thrive on building relationships and are not afraid to delve a little deeper to establish the information you need. You are driven with a desire for excellence, and a team player through and through.

As well as the above, you will also have:

  • Previous experience in a Business Partner/Decision Support preferably within financial services
  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Management reporting experience and strong financial modelling experience
  • Strong communication and the ability to influence stakeholders, driving new initiatives through
  • Demonstrated experience in expense management and budgeting
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
